Nicole (Nicki) Demakis grew up in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts and graduated in 1986 from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. She attended Western State University College of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1990 and was admitted to the California Bar in 1991. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Southern District of California. She is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.

A partner with TID since 2000, Nicki has been practicing Worker’s Compensation Law since 1991 and currently concentrates her practice in representing primarily self-insured employers, third party administrators and public entities in all aspects of the defense of worker’s compensation claims. She represents many local Southern California municipalities such as the City of Escondido, the City of Chula Vista and the City of San Marcos. She also represents many local public transportation entities, many of the local school districts as well as public and private hospitals and health care facilities.

Nicki is married to her wife Carla and they live in their home in Mattapoisett, MA with their 2 Boston Terriers, Pickles and Pumpkin.

Nicki enjoys golf, snowboarding in Mammoth, trout fishing and hiking in the Eastern Sierra, and watching the Boston Red Sox beat the Yankees; the Bruins beat the Canadians and the Patriots beat the Jets. She is a die-hard New England sports fan. She also enjoy spending time with her many nieces and nephews and friends and family.

When Nicki is not working, on the golf course, hiking or fishing, she enjoys hanging out with her family in Mattapoisett and drinking a good home-brewed beer.
